Asiri Hospital Holdings PLC through its fully owned subsidiary Asiri Port City Hospital (Pvt) Ltd is planning to set up a state of the art hospital of international standard within the Port City Colombo with collaboration of a globally renowned medical care corporation.
In an announcement to the Colombo Stock Exchange today the company said Asiri Port City Hospital (Pvt) Ltd has already entered into an agreement to lease with the Colombo Port City Economic Commission for the development and operation of a hospital within the Port City Colombo.
Subject to fulfillment of conditions the Colombo Port City Economic Commission and the Asiri Port City Hospital (Pvt) Ltd will later enter into a 99 year lease agreement on the demarcated land.
Asiri Port City Hospital (Pvt) Ltd will be the pioneering company of the Softlogic Group of Companies led by its founder and Chairman Ashok Pathirage, in designing, developing, and operating an exclusive state of the art hospital within the port city and the company has already partnered with a corporation globally renowned for its innovative treatment options, who will provide strategic and operational consulting services.
The Company - Asiri Hospital Holdings PLC is the largest private healthcare provider in Sr1 Lanka, renowned for offering most empathetic, technologically driven and cutting-edge health care services. The Company commenced operations in 1986 and currently operates eleven other medical facilities around the island and collectively has over an 800-bed capacity.
The Asiri Port City Hospital (Pvt) Ltd medical team will comprise of local and international medical experts and specialists who will be supported by internationally trained and experienced nursing and medical care staff.
