Windforce Limited, a renewable energy firm today announced that they  entered into a Share Sale and Purchase Agreement with Fairway Holdings (Pvt) Ltd today to acquire 92.5% stake of Fairway Waste Management (Pvt) Ltd. Hemaka De Alwis and Milinda Romesh Amarasinghe are the shareholders of Fairway Waste Management (Pvt) Ltd.

The Board resolution approving the above transaction was passed on 12th May 2021, the company told the Colombo Stock Exchange in a filing.

Fairway Waste Management (Private) Limited has been established to develop the 500MT/day Karadiyana Waste to Energy Plant, which will generate 10MW of power to the National Grid and a Power Purchase Agreement has been signed with the Ceylon Electricity Board.
