The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has announced the upcoming Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2025, set to take place on December 2–3 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo. Themed “Gateway to Growth – Asia’s Emerging Opportunity,” the high-level summit aims to position Sri Lanka as a key player in the region’s economic resurgence.
As the nation transitions from economic stabilization to forward-looking reforms, the summit is expected to serve as a pivotal platform for shaping a new era of growth. The event will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers including leading local and international economists, policymakers, investors, and senior government officials.
Over the course of two days, discussions will center on how Sri Lanka can harness reform momentum to drive exports, attract sustainable investment, and integrate more deeply into Asia’s growth narrative. Key focus areas will include green infrastructure, education, logistics, tourism, and export diversification.
The first day of the summit will offer a broad analysis of the country’s macroeconomic outlook and highlight sectors with high growth potential. The second day will shift focus to investment opportunities, particularly spotlighting developments at Port City Colombo, investor sentiment, and strategies to strengthen domestic and foreign investment flows. The event will conclude with B2B meetings and sector-specific networking hubs, designed to foster direct engagement among investors, businesses, and industry leaders.
With Sri Lanka poised to re-emerge as a dynamic player in the regional economy, the 2025 summit is being positioned as a landmark event on the country’s economic calendar. Organizers expect strong participation from both local and international stakeholders eager to explore Sri Lanka’s evolving investment landscape.
