Following the demise of its founder and Chairman Merril J Fernando his two sons, Malik I Fernando and Dilhan C Fernando will continue to carry forward his legacy in tea, leisure and other business enterprises owned and managed by MJF Group of Companies.
Accordingly Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company PLC has appointed veteran tea maker’s son Dilhan C Fernando as the new Chairman. He has also been appointed the Chairman of Kahawatte Plantations PLC.
The other son Malik J Fernando, a director of Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company PLC has been appointed Chairman of MJF leisure Pvt Ltd, the leisure arm of the group.
