Emirates Group has announced a record-breaking financial performance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, posting a pre-tax profit of AED 22.7 billion (US$ 6.2 billion), the highest in its history and the aviation industry for the year. The Group’s revenue climbed to an all-time high of AED 145.4 billion (US$ 39.6 billion), with EBITDA reaching AED 42.2 billion (US$ 11.5 billion), and cash assets totaling AED 53.4 billion (US$ 14.6 billion).

Flagship airline Emirates led the charge with a record profit of AED 21.2 billion (US$ 5.8 billion), driven by strong global demand, expanded routes, and continued investments in fleet, technology, and customer experience. The airline served 53.7 million passengers, launched new destinations including Bogotá and Madagascar, and added four Airbus A350s to its fleet. Cargo operations also surged, carrying 2.3 million tonnes and contributing AED 16.1 billion in revenue.

dnata, the Group’s ground handling and services division, also posted record results with AED 1.6 billion (US$ 430 million) in profit and AED 21.1 billion (US$ 5.8 billion) in revenue, thanks to expanded operations across Europe, the US, and the UAE, and new investments in infrastructure.

The Group declared a AED 6.0 billion (US$ 1.6 billion) dividend to its owner, the Investment Corporation of Dubai, and noted it remained financially robust despite the introduction of the UAE’s new corporate tax regime. Emirates Group also grew its global workforce by 9% to over 121,000 employees and invested AED 14 billion (US$ 3.8 billion) into future growth.

Chairman and CEO HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum credited the Group’s resilience and long-term strategy, noting, “We’ve raised the bar across all metrics and are entering the next financial year with confidence and strength.” Plans for 2025-26 include the delivery of 20 new aircraft, new cargo facilities, and continued expansion at Dubai South’s Al Maktoum International Airport
