The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, in a message, has congratulated the National People’s Power led by the President on securing an overwhelming mandate and majority in the Parliamentary election.
The chamber said that the mandate of the people reflects the united expectations towards governance, democratic values, anti-corruption, and uplifting of the economy.
“As the premier business Chamber in Sri Lanka, the Ceylon Chamber stands ready to collaborate with the new administration to foster economic stability, inclusive growth, and sustainable development. We appreciate the Election Commission and other state institutions for conducting a peaceful election” the chamber said in its message.
